The Future of Whole Body Cryotherapy
The XR Cryo Chamber Lite (LN2) is a state-of-the-art cryotherapy chamber designed for maximum safety, performance, and ease of use. Built by the nation’s leading cryo manufacturer, it integrates advanced technology, automated controls, and a built-in Point of Sale system to streamline operation and improve client experience.
The XR surrounds your body up to the neck with ultra-cold, non-toxic nitrogen gas, reaching temperatures as low as –220°F. Unlike the shock of an ice bath, this dry, refreshing chill creates a comfortable cooling experience that naturally activates your body’s most powerful healing, recovery, and wellness responses.
Equipped with real-time thermal imaging, the XR continuously monitors skin temperature throughout each session, providing valuable data, improving safety, and ensuring every treatment is as effective as possible.

FAQs
Why is the XR cryotherapy chamber different than others? ▾
The XR Chamber includes Wi-Fi connectivity, modular technology, and full mobility. It monitors oxygen levels, head position, pulse, and temperature, and will automatically shut down if needed.
Why is the XR cryotherapy chamber less expensive? ▾
It is designed with a smarter, cost-effective build that makes it safer and more advanced than other options without the higher price tag.
Is there any downtime with the XR cryotherapy chamber? ▾
The XR minimizes downtime with Wi-Fi and self-diagnostics to identify issues quickly. It requires no assembly. Plug into a 110V outlet and connect a liquid nitrogen supply.
Do you need to send someone out to fix the chamber if something goes wrong? ▾
The modular design allows fast part replacement. If an issue cannot be resolved, the entire unit can be replaced, and in certain cases a technician can be sent on-site.
What is the warranty? ▾
The XR Chamber includes a 3-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It is transferable within that period if Cryo Innovations is notified 30 days before transfer. During coverage, Cryo Innovations may repair or replace defective components or systems at its discretion. Contact us for full warranty terms.
What is fingerprint authorization? ▾
Operating the XR Chamber requires two fingerprint scans, one from a certified operator and one from an approved user. Each user profile stores health information and payment details, and operator access is linked to a completed safety certification.
Do I have enough space? ▾
A 10' × 10' space is sufficient for the Recovery XR and one or two liquid nitrogen dewars.
Can the liquid nitrogen dewars be stored outside the building? ▾
Yes. Liquid nitrogen dewars can be stored inside or outside the building, subject to local codes and supplier guidance.
Will this be an increase in liability? ▾
General liability policies typically cover this type of unit. Confirm details with your insurer to ensure proper coverage for your location and operations.
What is the purpose of the head proximity sensor? ▾
It ensures the user’s head remains above the liquid nitrogen. If the head drops below the top of the chamber, the system promptly shuts off for safety.
Can I use the XR cryotherapy chamber alone? ▾
No. An operator is required for each session. Both the operator and the user must be signed in, and the operator must press Continue when prompted.
Do I have to use the Point of Sale system? ▾
Yes. The built-in POS tracks customer accounts, sessions, and stats, and helps manage payments and access.
Does HIPAA apply? ▾
HIPAA does not apply because the XR and other cryotherapy chambers are not classified as medical equipment, and personal medical information is not collected. Users are required to sign a health and safety waiver to confirm they have no conditions that prevent use of cryotherapy.
What is the worst thing that could happen? ▾
If instructions are not followed, the primary risk is frostbite. Always cover hands and feet with warm gloves and boots, and follow operator prompts throughout the session.
